Pokhara University launched the program of Bachelor of Health Care Management (BHCM) in 2000 AD to fulfill the growing need for qualified health care professionals with health care management /administration degree. This 8 Semesters (4 Years) program prepares students to enter management practice in a health care setting.

Different health care companies, hospitals, and organizations related to health care management, are in need of qualified and trained candidates with health care management /administration degrees.

Bachelor of Health Care Management (BHCM) program has the following objectives to achieve its mission:

• To produce qualified health care management / administration professionals.
• To acquaint students with modern principles, concepts and ways of health care management.
• To arouse awareness and interest in students about the importance and fundamental role that health care management
• plays in strengthening the development of the country and the people.
• To prepare students for higher-level studies and research, such as Master's Degree and Ph.D. in this area.

ELIGIBILITY

Students should have scored a minimum of "C" Grade in all subjects in 10+2 (Secondary Level)

OR

minimum second division from +2 (intermediate) level or Equivalent from in any discipline is required.

Based on performance on written test, personal interview the final selection will be done.
